Meet Our Staff

Dr. Nayyar

Hi, my name is Dr. Roger Nayyar, and I am the owner of Beech Dentistry. Let me tell you a little bit about myself:

I was born in a small town just outside of Ottawa, Ontario back in 1969. My family and I ended up settling in Toronto a couple of years later. Growing up in this vibrant city, I was exposed to its many attributes and services. I ended up playing sports, joining the Boy Scouts and playing musical instruments until the time I was ready to finish high school.

I ended up going to the University of Toronto in 1988 and completing my Bachelor of Science in 1991. After that, I attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, completing the program in 1996. During my time at this school, I took a particular interest in treating patients directly, including those less fortunate due to life circumstances.

After coming back to Ontario, I started working as an associate dentist for almost 10 years in Pickering, Toronto and Belleville. During this time, I realized how satisfying it was to treat patients and see them happy once their work was completed. I also learned that I was ultimately meant to be my own boss. In 2006, I bought what is now my present dental office called Beech Dentistry, which I felt gave me the full freedom to help people.

Part of helping people involves keeping up-to-date with changing ideas and technology. Throughout my dental career, I have taken continuing education courses, such as endodontic (root canal) courses and various implant courses that allow one to stay current with the ever-changing techniques and philosophies in this ever-changing field. I believe that this is vitally important to allow for one to give the best that they can to their patients.

After moving to Brampton, and taking over a long-standing practice, I got to learn about the patients and the local community. My wife Aparna and our two kids, Bhavika and Krish, along with myself, have become well integrated into the community, enjoying its many attributes. I enjoy being a member of the Cobra Swim Club and taking part in various activities in the YMCA. I also appreciate music and take joy in playing the guitar. My daughter also loves music and is a part of the Rosebuds Orchestra of Brampton. My son plays in the Brampton Hockey League.

My wife and I have been running this practice together and you will see her at most times helping out. I believe that being well connected to your family and community allows one to connect with people of all ages. Our practice brings this concept of connectivity to our office environment. I believe that in keeping the stress low and the quality high, my team and I can have a very positive effect on people from the time they enter the dental office until the time they leave. It is that simple. I invite you to give us a try, so that we can implement our philosophy to help your dental needs.
